Thanks to upsets by CRUCIAL CAT (10-1), SHEISMYHEART (9-1) and HEBIOUS CORPUS (7-1), the Pick-9 had no takers at Caymanas Park on Wednesday and still has $1 million in the kitty.

The Pick-9 will embrace races two to 10, while the first Super-6 will be conducted from the first to the sixth race, with the overlapping Super-6 encompassing races five to 10.

We look at the second Super-6, which gets under way with a competitive-looking overnight allowance race to be contested by eight starters over 1200 metres. The winner should come from a quartet comprising WORKING IMAGE, CLASSY PROSPECT, LITTLE WASP and BEAUTIFUL SPACE.

CLASSY PROSPECT, with champion jockey Omar Walker aboard, and WORKING IMAGE, the mount of the season's top apprentice, Aaron Chatrie, should carry the bulk of the betting and it should come down to these two.

WORKING IMAGE was a fast-finishing second to THE GUARDIAN in a blanket finish over the straight last Saturday and has much appeal in a race of this nature.

Impressive

However, preference is for the Wayne DaCosta-trained three-year-old colt, CLASSY PROSPECT, who has moved impressively at exercise following his close second to THE CHIEF in a fast-run 1100-metre race on August 28.

The sixth race over 1600 metres for three-year-olds should come down to an interesting tussle among the quartet of SUPER CENTRE, MISTER INFORMATION, ASANTEWA and LADY NENITA in a field of eight.

MISTER INFORMATION caught the eye when failing by a head to catch the front-running SAEED over 1200 metres in the Knustford Park Cup on September 15, and along with the consistent SUPER CENTER should fight out the finish.

SUPER CENTRE (Dick Cardenas up) faces his easiest task after running against better horses in recent months and gets the nod.

Briefly, THE VALIDICTORIAN, with a mere 48.0kg, is definitely the pick of the weights in the knotty seventh race over 1600 metres, to be contested by nine starters, while it should be Walker's mount REDEMPTION SONG over SEEK GOLD in the eighth over 1300 metres.

The American-bred filly, RONRON, potentially the best horse in the country with the unbeaten CASSANOVA BOY having his problems, cannot be opposed in the ninth race (feature) for the L.R. 'Bob' Mayall Memorial Trophy over 1600 metres, in which six grade one horses have been declared.

Then close the programme with the improving NUTTIN BUT ZKAIRA (Dane Nelson up), following her good third to LESTERAE last Saturday.
