Another attempt will be made to play today's round of matches in the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA)/Pepsi/Digicel Manning Cup competition following heavy islandwide rain over the past three days.
The bad weather forced the postponement of yesterday's round of games.
"All the matches will be played tomorrow once the weather is good," George Forbes, ISSA's competitions officer, said yesterday. "The games that were scheduled today (yesterday) will be played at a later date because when we were doing the fixtures we took into consideration that something like this may happen, and so we have to adjust it," Forbes said.
"Three zones have been affected in the Manning Cup and so we are going to have to play a lot more games in the coming days," Forbes added.
Win record
Today's schedule will see the playing of eight matches in three groups. In the day's feature game in Group D, surprise team Penwood, who have a 100 per cent win record after four matches, will host Mona at the Molynes United field. In the group's other games, Pembroke Hall entertain former champions St Andrew Technical and Holy Trinity host Meadowbrook.
Group B: Vauxhall vs Tivoli Gardens, Ascot vs Dunoon.
Group D: Penwood vs Mona, Holy Trinity vs Meadowbrook, Pembroke Hall vs St Andrew Technical.
Group F: Campion College vs St Catherine, Hydel vs Eltham, Jonathan Grant vs Kingston College.
Meanwhile, the weather has also forced the postponement of yesterday's round of matches in the ISSA/Digicel Under-19 and 16 netball competitions.
