Waterhouse aim to go all the way

Waterhouse are off to a much better start in the 2010-2011 season of the Digicel Premier League than they did last term. They are joint leaders with Portmore United on 13 points, after six rounds of matches.
New head coach Baris Johnson is hoping that the team can preserve their position atop the standings, all the way through.
"That is what we are striving for, to get on top of the league and then to see how best we can maintain the lead," Johnson cited.
Waterhouse further demonstrated their positive turn around on Wednesday, when they defeated last season's runners up Tivoli Gardens 1-0, at the Drewsland Mini Stadium. This marked Waterhouse's first league victory over their opponents in two seasons.
Jermaine Anderson scored the game's lone goal in the 86th minute, when he arrived into the area undetected to head in a 30 yards free-kick by Weston Forrest.
Tivoli's Glendon Bailey, believed his team was unfortunate not to have gained at least a point from the match.
"The little mistake that we made was the difference in the game," Bailey declared. "I think we should have come away with a point," he added.
Johnson is of the view that Waterhouse's change in fortune is due to the work put in during the preseason.
"We had a good preseason in terms of the time we started, most of the players returned quickly from overseas," Johnson pointed out. "We had started with the players that were here and we had put in some work and did a lot of running, a bit of team building and some technical work," he further explained.
