King to face fitness test before Ipswich trip
COVENTRY CITY, England (CMC): Coventry City's embattled Jamaican striker Marlon King is set to face a late fitness test ahead of the club's tough trip to Ipswich today.
King suffered a leg injury which ruled him out of the Hull fixture on October 2, the final game before the near two-week international break, and he will have to prove his fitness before he can be named in the squad for Portman Road.
Manager Aidy Boothroyd is apparently unwilling to take any risks with the 30-year-old's fitness.
The Reggae Boy recently served half of an 18-month jail term for sexual assault after being convicted in the Southwark Crown Court last year.
He was immediately sacked by Wigan but after being released in July this year gained favour with Boothroyd, who signed him on a yearlong contract last month.
