Boyd, Lowe reunite in football charity event

THE strikers who formed one of the deadliest Reggae Boyz combinations - enroute to France '98 qualification - Walter Boyd and Onandi Lowe, will reunite at the 25th anniversary staging of the National Commercial Bank (NCB) Visa Classic Bell/Ziadie football charity match today.
The match, which brings together a host of well-known sporting and business personalities, will be held at Winchester Park, St George's College and is the feature of a double-header. It pits the Masters, Celebrities and Entertainers team, on which the duo will play, and a St George's College Old Boys invitational team, starting at 4 p.m.
Some other players on the Master and Celebrities team include Kymani Marley, Christopher Martin, Byron Earle and Hugh 'Bingy' Blair.
The St George's College Old Boys team will include Andrew Price, Nick Ziadie, Ali McNab, Courtney Walsh, Wayne Marshall, Andre Viture and Peter Prendergast.
The day's proceedings will begin at 2 p.m. with a sponsor's team battling a media invitational side.
