Reno embraced the 2-1 win they had over lowly-placed St Georges Sports Club on Sunday in preparation for today's challenge with defending champions Harbour View at Frome Sports Complex, beginning at 3:30 p.m.

"Playing Harbour View is always a spectacular event, one in which good football is displayed, so we are looking forward to that encounter with the hope of coming away with the three points," said Wendell Downswell, Reno's technical director, following Sunday's victory in a lacklustre game at Frome, that saw both Reno and St Georges unable to create any worthwhile scoring opportunity until after the half-time break.

In the second half, Reno played with more purpose and Troy Reid - absent from the Reno starting lineup all season - made the difference in the 67th when he did one of his usual speedy and tricky moves before kicking past Ralston Robinson in the St Georges goal from an acute angle on the left side.

Fresh from his tour with the Under-20 national team, during which he scored eight goals in three games for Jamaica, Craig Foster doubled the score in the 80th, with a bomber from just inside the 18-yard box.

St Georges pulled back a goal at the 90th courtesy of Horace James, who nodded down the ball, and whose bounce was poorly read by Dennis Taylor in the Reno goal.
