Hennessy in the spotlight

The creative minds at J. Wray and Nephew were at it again on Thursday, October 28 as they launched the limited-edition Hennessy VS Blending of Art Collector's Edition No. 1.
The content of the bottle is the same rich taste that Hennessy has always delivered; it's the label that has been transformed. The 'Blending of Art' refers to the new label that is a combination of artwork from artist/photographer Kesh (you know artistic folks with their one-name titles) and Englishman David Burrows. After last year's Hennessy Artistry show that fused music and fashion with the potent potable, the plan this time around was to blend the popular cognac with art.
Debbian Spence, J. Wray and Nephew's brand manager for Moët-Hennessy, said that 'Henny' had revolutionised the cognac category. She revealed that the lovely libation has been produced by seven generations of master blenders from the same family and cognac lovers around the world couldn't love the tradition more.
During cocktails, guests sipped various combinations of Hennessy (cranberry et al) while Della Manley and fellow guitarist Omar Francis entertained the gathering. After, Voicemail duo Kevin Blair and Craig Jackson, with the help of the Hennessy promotion belles, rocked the venue with their entertaining set, including the ever-popular Nuh Behaviour dance.
