Holmwood hunt last four spot

HOLMWOOD Technical High's junior and senior netball teams will be hoping to continue their impressive records in schoolgirl netball when they play in today's quarter-finals of the ISSA/Digicel rural competition.

Eight junior and senior teams will be hoping to move on when action gets under way at two venues, The Queen's School and St Elizabeth Technical.

In junior action at St Elizabeth Technical, defending champions Holmwood, who topped Group Four of the second round with a perfect six points, will battle second-place finishers of Group One, Anchovy High, who had two wins, a tie and a loss. Group One winners Glenmuir will oppose Bellefield, who were second in Group Three. Group Three winners Herbert Morrison will face Manning's. In the lone junior game at Queen's, Denbigh will battle Titchfield.

Matches in the junior section will start at 10 a.m with senior games down to begin at 11:30 a.m.
