Following their contentious win over defending champions Harbour View on the weekend, former champions Waterhouse will go for their second successive win of the second round of the Digicel Premier League (DPL) when they meet home team Arnett Gardens in the second game of a double-header at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex. Game time is 7:30 p.m.

Boys' Town will go up against Village United in the opening game at 5:30 p.m.

In the last meeting between the two teams, Waterhouse got the better of Arnett Gardens in a nerve-wracking encounter which frustrated then coach Wayne Fairclough into resignation. Today, Waterhouse will be aiming to pile on more misery on new coach Paul 'Tegat' Davis who lost his first match in charge of Arnett Gardens on Sunday last, a 0-3 humbling to Sporting Central.

"We are hoping to get a favourable result and continue what we did on Sunday. Arnett are coming off the road where they lost, so this game is really important for them and they will be coming to get something out of the game. We want that also, so we have to work hard for it," said Waterhouse assistant coach Marcel Gayle.

"What is good for us is that we have a full strength team now as all our players are available now including Kenardo Forbes," added Gayle whose team flow best when Forbes is pulling the strings in the middle.

In addition to Forbes, Waterhouse will also welcome back first string goalkeeper Richard McCallum and utility player Keneil Moodie, both of whom were part of Jamaica's winning Digicel Caribbean Championship squad.

Following Arnett Gardens' loss to Sporting Central, coach Davis said his players were lethargic and did not show up. The trio of Kevin Wilson, Gerald Neil and Rohan Reid definitely did not show up as they were returning from national duty with the country's beach football team in Mexico. Their presence added to the industry and skill of the veteran Kirk Ramsay and the young Rasheede Clarke and Ricardo Stern could make them a much more competitive unit.

Boys' Town have lacked consistency but should be too good for Village United even with their new Brazilian coach and the confidence gained by captain Troy Smith from helping Jamaica to lift the DCC. Boys' Town will also benefit from a more confident Marvin Morgan teaming up with Renae Lloyd, Michael Campbell, Asrick Samuels aand Anthony Bennett.

Humble Lion will need to pull out all the stops to get the better of Portmore United and resurrect their season while Harbour View will welcome home comforts and the return of Jermaine Hue and Richard Edwards who shone for Jamaica in the DCC, when they host Reno.
