The promoters of the original Portmore Dog Show present the family fun day and expo at the Portmore Town Centre in St Catherine tomorrow.

The show, scheduled to feature more than 400 dogs doing various tricks, is expected to be a total entertainment package for the entire family to enjoy.

According to chief executive officer of Goode Promotions, Morris Goode, the event is one that persons from all over the island have come to accept.

"We are aware that persons want to have value for their money, so we decided to add the family segment to the day's activities so as to enhance the entertainment value," Goode said.

"Last year, we had the doggy fashion show and it was one of the highpoints of the competition, so we decided that in addition to that competition, which the children really love, we will be adding face-painting clowns, a bounceabout and other events for the children," Goode said.

He said during the day there will be a number of giveaways for those in attendance.

Another segment of the programme is the lunch-hour entertainment with Deva Brat and other entertainers. The MC will be Pretty Boy Floyd.
