The Franciscan ministries will be hosting a fund-raiser titled 'Classical Harmony' on Sunday at 5 p.m. on the grounds of the Immaculate Conception High School.

The proceeds of the concert will fund the outreach programme of the Franciscan Ministries, a non-profit organisation serving marginalised persons, while promoting justice and peace in rural and inner-city communities of Jamaica.

Patronage

The concert is sponsored by Sterling Asset Management and is being presented under the distinguished patronage of His Grace Archbishop Donald Reece.

The night will feature world-class performances from the Immaculate High School (ICHS) Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Steven Woodham; the ICHS Glee Club; the Youth Wind Ensemble from Cayman; tenor, Andrew Lawrence; soprano, Jodi Ho Lung; Kathryn Hoo, violinist; and accomplished pianist YeKengale.

The Franciscan Ministries also accommodate voluntary medical practitioners from internationally recognised medical schools, such as Yale and Harvard to provide free medication, as well as surgical and paediatric services in the targeted communities.
