Daydreams comes to the city

Published:Saturday | December 18, 2010 | 12:00 AM

Known for its Solaris Estate venue in St Thomas, Daydreams will now be much closer to the city - at Caymanas Estates. The extremely popular premium inclusive event will be held tomorrow.

Party promoter P.J. Wright told The Gleaner that patrons can come expecting the high standards of yesteryear as well as a bit of new creativity.

What does Daydreams have in store for this year's patrons?

As always, Daydreams will provide a great atmosphere for its patrons to unwind and release by providing good music, good food and great mixes, all in a safe party atmosphere.

What sets Daydreams apart from other parties?

This year's theme is Hawaiian Escape. It's one of few parties that, as the event transitions from day to night, the venue gradually evolves with lighting and special effects.

How is this Daydreams going to be different from the others in the past? Have you raised the bar?

We always try to better our last event. For this staging, we will be focusing on our decor and access to food and bar (stations).

It's going to be your first time staging the event in the city? Why the change?

We wanted to bring the party closer due to the economic climate, so that access will be easy for all patrons, but at the same time keeping it a little outside the city limits for the Sunday drive out.
