Mismyrtleboyritchie to extend streak

Top two-year-old MISMYRTLEBOYRICHIE goes for his fifth consecutive win at Caymanas Park today when he contests the $1.3 million Sweet Ruckus Trophy over 1400 metres, and it will take a brave punter to oppose this classy colt.
The race has attracted 11 native bred and imported two-year-olds.
Trained by Tony Kirlew, MISMYRTLEBOYRICHIE looked awesome on December 8 when romping to his fourth consecutive win in the valuable Dye Job Sprint over 1200 metres, covering the distance in the smart time of 1:12.2 to stamp himself as the best American-bred two-year-old seen out so far this season.
After that win, Kirlew said 'Mismyrtleboy' is not really a sprinter, "but he's so classy that he will beat rivals over any distance... you'll see his true ability when given a longer distance and the Sweet Ruckus Trophy is our next objective," he said.
Driving finish
MISMYRTLEBOYRICHIE, to again be ridden by champion jockey Omar Walker, had previously won over the same distance on November 6 in an even smarter time (1:12.0), getting up close home (inside) to beat Gary Subratie's DANCE SO SWEET, an American filly in a driving finish.
However, when they met again in the Dye Job Sprint, DANCE SO SWEET, despite renewing rivalry on better terms, was beaten into third place, 7 3/4 away.
Having moved impressively at exercise, MISMYRTLEBOYRICHIE should once again prove too good for DANCE SO SWEET.
MISMYRTLEBOYRICHIE is no ordinary two-year-old and should once again lead home DANCE SO SWEET (working well), THERE GOES JUSTIN and SANDSAND. That's the superfecta!
Also on the 10-race programme is the sixth and final race in the CTL Claiming Series No. 2 ($250,000-$210,000) over 1500 metres. Ten starters have been declared including top contenders HEY TRAIN, FLY TO THE MOON, TOP MAN and the down-in-class PRINCE RIDELL, who can topple this field on his best day.
Indications are that HEY TRAIN, to be ridden by champion jockey Omar Walker for trainer Michael Beecham, and the Patrick Lynch-trained FLY TO THE MOON, with Dane Nelson aboard, will fight it out. Both finished heads on, third and fourth places respectively, to easy winner UNLEASH THE POWER over 1600 metres on December 4. With HEY TRAIN now having the services of Walker, the hint should be taken.
I also like Walker's mount, MING LEI in the first race, SHEISAMAHARANEE in the 3rd, THE GREYT DOCTOR in the 4th, BREDDA PAPPA to rebound in the 6th and PRINCE PHILLIP in the 7th.
