Simulcast Sunday at the Park
For the first time on a Sunday, live simulcast racing from North America will be presented at Caymanas Park on December 26, beginning at 12:25 p.m. with Philadelphia Park.
"Philly' is one of four tracks from which punters can watch and wager on the day. The others are Turfway Park with a post time of 1:10, Turf Paradise beginning at 2:30, and Mountaineer Park with a post time of 7:00 p.m.
Admission is free to the ground floor of the Clubstand, but punters are required to pay $100 for entry to the Reserved Area and $250, to the Top Floor (Balcony). Parking is free.
Chris Armond, acting CEO and director of marketing at Caymanas Track Limited, said Sunday simulcast was introduced to improve the revenues of the promoting company.

Simulcast racing accounts for over 40 per cent of the company's take.
Armond disclosed that since the takeout on individual wagers on simulcast racing was reduced from 37 to 30 per cent, the move has
"Sales have increased to such an extent that we did $6.2 million on four tracks on Tuesday - Turf Paradise, Mountaineer, Beulah Park and Sunland in New Mexico," he added.
Meanwhile, the first Sunday meet in 13 months will take place at Caymanas Park on January 30, 2011.
