Philip Feanny's American-bred three-year-old, PRETTY-LIKEMONEY, can give female apprentice Georgina Sergeon her first win for 2011 when she runs in tomorrow's opening event on the 10-race card at Caymanas Park.
The maiden condition race for imported three-year-olds and upwards has attracted six starters including SANDSAND and DA BOOM who were second and third respectively behind Harlan's Dancer in a 1200 metres race on December 15. Tomorrow's race, to be contested over 1300 metres, will kick off the first of two Super-6s. The first runs from race one to six while the other starts at race five and ends at the 10th and final event.
PRETTYLIKEMONEY has been stepped up at exercise by Feanny since finishing eighth by 15 lengths to the crack American-bred sprinter Mismyrtleboyrichie on December 8 over 1200 metres. That race was run in a fast 1:12.2 with PRETTY-LIKEMONEY, toting 54.5kg, completing the distance in 1:15.1. The Giacomo - Symphonious filly was just out for the experience and, now down to 48kg, can make her presence felt. She scorched the exercise track, going 1:30.2 for 1400 metres on December 16, and came back on Wednesday to gallop 49.4 for 800m alongside She's Smoking.
Champion jockey Omar Walker is on a banker in race two for non-winners of two over 1200 metres. REGIONAL CHAMBER came from a six-month absence to finish seventh by ten lengths to Jaylen in overnight company on Boxing Day. The four-year-old gelding was just three-and-a-half lengths behind seasoned overnight campaigners Major Mayer and MACHISMO and should turn this event into a procession, after coming back on January 3 to breeze 1:08.2 for 1100 metres on the exercise track.

Race three, over 1100 metres, is a cinch for American-bred DANCE SO SWEET who will use her blinding speed to get away from this seven-horse field. Trained by Gary Subratie, DANCE SO SWEET dwelt at the start and gave away all her chances when facing Mismyrtle-boyrichie on December 22. She will be in front all the way from a level break. Ameth Robles who rode her to victory on her first local start last June, replaces Shane Ellis who rode her on the last three occasions.
Top trainers Wayne DaCosta and Feanny come face-to-face in race four, a maiden special race over 1200 metres. DaCosta conditions the ante post favourite SEARCHING FOR GOLD while Feanny takes his chances with GERSHWIN. SEARCHING FOR GOLD ran against winners on December 8 and was not disgraced in placing fifth by ten lengths to Mismyrtleboyrichie. Now pitted against maidens, the Region of Merit - Ray of Hope three year-old gelding should make no mistake. GERSHWIN should be watched, however. The grey colt breezed 49.2 for 800m on Wed-nesday, on a day on which the high thought of She's Smokin did 49.4 for the same distance.
EXCELLENCE who ran in the Oaks, Governor's Cup and Derby last year is the class horse in race five and will go to post the favourite to capture the 1820 metres contest. She can, however, be beaten by the improving WARRIOR QUEEN who was ahead of her on December 4 when both finished behind MY BREDREN going 1400 metres.
The Lloyd Gordon-trained WARRIOR QUEEN was fourth by six lengths while EXCELLENCE was 13th by 13 lengths. The distance will suit EXCELLENCE tomorrow and she trained well on January 2 travelling 1400 metres in a good 1:29.4, but WARRIOR QUEEN is a real progressive sort and could be better at this time than EXCELLENCE who has tended to be very one-paced in most of her races.
Close all first Super-6 bets with TOBAGO. He is down to $450,000 claiming after winning the same distance (1600 metres) among $550,000 claimers on December 22 last year.
