An intriguing contest is expected today when second-placed August Town oppose Santos in the feature match of the Kingston and St Andrew Football Association (KSAFA)/Claro Super League football competition, at Bell Chung Oval. Match time is 3:30 p.m.

August Town (26), demoted from top-flight football last season, trail leaders Cavalier (28) by two points, while Santos (20) are fifth.

Cavalier will play away to Constant Spring (9) at the Constant Spring Sports Complex. In the day's other games, third-placed University of the West Indies (21) will host bottom-placed Real Mona at UWI Bowl, Rockfort (20) will play away to Duhaney Park (9) at Baldwin Crescent, Rae Town (20) will entertain Barbican (13) at Breezy Castle and Bull Bay (nine) will tackle Mountain View United (11) at Bull Pen.

August Town won the first-round clash 1-0.

"This game is also very important for us because we must win it in order to keep up with the leaders in the competition," said Marlon Small, August Town's manager.

Meanwhile Santos' coach, Carlton 'Spanner' Dennis, said: "This is a very crucial game for this because this match will tell us in which direction we are going. We only have nine games after this one and so every three points is very important for us."
