It's we and GDP

The problem
Jamaica not producing enough! That's why some of us don't get enough money when we work, or some don't have any work at all!
The reason
Think of Jamaica as a big pie! And the size of the pie is called gross domestic product (GDP). Think of the things we do as the ingredients in the GDP pie - carpentry, construction, agriculture, fishing, hospitality, shops and supermarkets, bartending and retail selling. Not enough ingredients are being put in the pie, so the size of the pie is not as large as it could be, because:
Some persons are not helping to bake the pie because they can't bother! Or some just don't know how! Or some people don't even know what a pie needs to be made!
Some persons, who know how to make pie, don't have the right tools, or get pushed out by 'bad mind' people!
Some other people waste pie-making time, waiting to get their personal business done in some 'pie administration' offices (like at RGD).
Some are quarrelling and fighting because they think their slice of pie should be bigger. And - get this - some who don't give anything to the pie sometimes kill those who put a lot into the pie!
This is why our pie is not big enough! But it can be, and all of us can get a sizeable slice! But how?
The solution
1. Education: Everybody must be educated about how to produce a bigger and better pie. So, start teaching it in school - from basic school to evening school! It's we and GDP!
2. Moralisation: This means everybody must start to embrace and express a new set of morals and values which help increase 'pie production'. It's we and GDP!
3. Classification: This means that anybody 18 years and over, who is not working or studying, must be a community volunteer (CV). And every CV would be picked up every day and given work at an approved community or national project that contributes directly to pie production, or GDP. The work would not be for money. CVs would get government and private-sector benefits! It's we and GDP!
Jamaica will be the place to live, work, raise families and do business when every citizen produces, builds and contributes to the national pie.
It's we and GDP! That's national transformation! What yuh think?
