Coaches 'disappointed' after Trench Town derby stalemate

Andrew Price and Paul 'Tegat' Davis, the coaches of Boys' Town and Arnett Gardens, respectively, were disappointed for various reasons following the conclusion of their teams' Trench Town derby in the Digicel Premier League football game at the Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex on Sunday.
Dean Thompson scored for Boys' Town in the 36th minute, while Kirk Ramsey equalised at the 46th.
"I am very unhappy with our performance today, as at home. We should have gotten all three points," said Davis. "It's like nobody wanted to take the ball or to take control of the game."
Price thought the referee could have done a better job.
"Today the players were not the star of the game, the referee was," said Price. "His unwillingness to take control of the game earlier on spoiled what could have been a good game.
"But having said that, I am happy to leave with a point as based on how the game was played, it could have been worse," he added.
Three players - two from Boys' Town - were ejected and a number of yellow cards were issued.
Thompson capitalised on poor marking atop the penalty area and, recognising that goalkeeper Damion Hyatt was off his line, released a bullet of a shot which crashed into the net.
Arnett, however, did not roll over and die. After coming out of the dressing room seemingly motivated, they pulled level a minute after the break when Ramsey headed home from about the penalty spot.
The intensity of the game increased, which led to referee Wilverglen Lamey being forced to dip into his back pocket to produce the red card.
Boys Town's Wayne Ellis, a former Arnett Gardens player, was the first to be sent off, for a rash challenge in the 55th minute.
The second and third red cards were issued in injury time, when Arnett's Dwayne Gaynor and Boys' Town's Renae Loyd were dismissed for fighting.
The result kept Boys' Town joint third on 43 points, while Arnett Gardens are eighth in the 12-team standings on 32 points, the same as seventh-place Reno.
