Livingston, Alexander & Levy at 100

Published:Monday | February 14, 2011 | 12:00 AM

One hundred years is a long time, the survival of which, whether by a person or body corporate, is, of itself, a significant achievement.

But in a young, transitional society, in a state of ferment and flux, the absence of institutional longevity is understandable and, therefore, noteworthy when occasioned.

It is within that context that we note and celebrate with the law firm, Livingston, Alexander & Levy the marking of its 100th anniversary this year.

That it has reached this milestone is testament to its founders Noel Livingston and Harold Alexander, and Aston Levy, who joined in 1930. Clearly, it would not have survived on an absence of substance and without a delivery of service.
