Jamaicans who turned out to see the Jeffrey Osborne pre-Valentine show at the Las Vegas club got a real treat on Saturday night.

Dancing was taken to a different level, as 14 Jamaican dancers and their Spanish counterparts shared the diamond-shaped stage at intervals to dish out an evening of Latin music and dance.

From soulful love songs to the husky highs of up-tempo rhythms, the dancers demonstrated that they were masters of their craft.

For the duration of an entire song, 12 dancers crammed the small stage, gyrating and inter-twining their bodies with precise accuracy, earning for themselves resounding applause.

The Western Dance Group's stint was mixed with a jaw-dropping performance by Ocho Rios-based human contortionist Marvin Wilson, who twisted his body into all sorts of shapes and forms.

Young, but very-talented Ashanti I primed the stage with three of her original songs, ahead of the soulful Jeffrey Osborne.

After some friendly banter between himself and the crowd, Osborne sang In Your Eyes beautifully.

Learning to love the Jamaican audience even more, Osborne was sounding as great as he did on the airwaves more than a decade ago.

"Let's pump it up a bit. I'm gonna do a lot of ballads tonight," Osborne said, and with that came A Better Don't Need no Light.

Eenie Meenie and Only Human connected well with the ladies.

But the crooner was only warming up. Songs like Shine On, Much More Than This and We're Going All the Way brought an abundance of screams. Some ladies tightened their grip on their partners and laid their heads on shoulders.

"I can't get tired of this song, because it makes me walk to the bank with a smile every time," said Osborne, as he jumped into On the Wings of Love.

Osborne admitted he had so many songs he wasn't sure what to sing. "Anything by LTD," a woman shouted.

"Ok, I'm gonna do that," Osborne responded.

"You Should Be Mine. Woo, woo", he sang.

After an hour and 15 minutes on stage, Osborne left but returned for an encore, and with a beautiful rendition of Teddy Prendergrass' Close the Door, he brought the curtains down.
