FirstCaribbean Suites

Daniel Farmer, managing director and country head of FirstCaribbean International Bank (left) and Professor Sir Hilary Beckles, pro-vice chancellor and principal of the Cave Hill campus, University of the West Indies, cut the ribbon to officially open a new section of the FirstCaribbean Suites. The FirstCaribbean Suites are located on the first floor of the Solutions Centre and were first refurbished through a grant of US$60,000, which allowed for the conversion of the space from a small bed-and-breakfast operation to a meeting-room facility for the use of the university community and rented to the public. The new section includes a pair of technology-outfitted computer labs, complementing the already functional conference facilities. - Contributed
