Upcoming female reggae act, Aria Morgan, is busy working on her debut album Fulltime Love, which is to be completed for release this summer.

Being produced by Jermaine 'Songo' Wilson of SongodrumZ Productions, the album will include songs such as the title track Fulltime Love, Goose Pimples, Sweet Loving, and Trust Mi (Don't Watch Mi).

According to Morgan, the album will introduce her to the world as a creative, talented individual who is strong in her convictions and has great confidence in her sense of self.

It will touch on various topics such as love and relationships, go in depth about the real issues that arise in these situations, and aim to send a positive message through each song.

"I believe in looking at the positive in anything, seeing the glass half full, therefore, encouragement should be gained from my songs, especially to young women," she said.

She is promoting her latest single, Trust Mi (Don't Watch Mi), in which she challenges the man in a relationship to appreciate that when he has a loyal woman, he should trust her.

Although the journey has not been an easy one, Morgan still pushes on with a high level of determination and persistence, qualities she believes should be present in any artiste, especially conscious women.

"The relationship I have with my music is one that is progressive. The more I write, rehearse, and perform is the closer we get, and I am happiest doing music. The more effort I put in my music is the more satisfaction I gain from doing it, and this draws a beautiful parallel with relationships, too," said Morgan.

The artiste performed at Something Fresh last Thursday at The Deck along with artistes such as Janine 'Kuhl' Coombs and Jermaine Blake.

She is working on a soca collaboration titled Soca Tonight with Lady Diamond, a Vincentian artiste.

A music video for Trust Mi (Don't Watch Mi) is also in the making.
