The following are some of the dozens of feedback letters received to last week's edition of Roving with Lalah.

Tranquil and relaxing place

Dear Robert:

I went to the high school nearby (Happy Grove), and for my five years there it was a real tranquil and relaxing place. I know the spot your adventure took you to.

Good work

Dear Robert:

Your stories are the highlight of Gleaner online. They make me feel as if I am right there at home, enjoying the beauty of my island. Please, keep up the good work you are doing. Your experiences take me back to my childhood and the people and the way Jamaican life was when I was growing up. I hope to meet you one of these days when I come home to visit

Love the country tales

Dear Robert:

You did it again. I have to tell you I prefer the country stories anytime over the city ones. May God continue to bless you with this wonderful skill you have.

Keep them coming

Dear Robert:

At the rate you are going, one day I just might call HR and tell them to pack and ship my things home because I have to return to that beautiful homeland of mine. I always miss the food, but your articles reveal how much more there is to Jamaica. Take care and keep them coming. Loving it.

You bring me right home every time

Dear Robert:

Wonderful stories. You bring me right home every time I read them. One day, I will be home to 'see' these stories for myself.

Addicted to your stories

Dear Robert:

I am like a junkie, addicted to your stories for the past six years. Every morning before I leave for work I have to read your story for a good laugh, that usually stays with me throughout the day. Some of your stories make me scared, cry, and laugh so hard my head hurt, but I love reading them. You are such a good story writer. I would really love to meet you, so that I could travel with you on one of your ventures.

Wonderful reminders

Dear Robert:

Thanks for your wonderful adventures in Jamaica, meeting and talking with ordinary people. I always look forward to your pieces. You go off the beaten track to remind us of our beautiful country. Despite the complaints, there are wonderful reminders and natural beauty of our beautiful Island. Thanks again for keeping us informed.
