The Kencot Christian Fellowship Youth Movement staged their first annual fashion show under the theme 'Fashion with a Purpose' last Saturday evening at the church's Parry Road, Kingston location. The event featured four themed segments showcasing Christian models walking the catwalk, well suited for a life of modesty. The segments covered cultural wear which captured the African, Indian and Chinese styles, casual wear and formal/evening wear.
The work of young designer Keisha Thorpe and the presentations by the models Marrion McCalla, Terry-Ann James, Kaysia Halstead, Tashna Silburn, Samoya Brown, Petagaye Madden, Lee-Anne Chung, Marvin Moulton, Romario, Jermaine McCalpin, and Robyn Ann Chin-Sang, made for a delightful evening.
