New space for Caribbean cinema

Soon to be available in Spanish, English and French www.caribefilm.com, is the new web page of the Travelling Caribbean Film Showcase. According to a release from the showcase, the page has been designed as a space for worldwide promotion of Caribbean Cinema.

The page offers the users the opportunity to download audio-visual material, and according to the release, an opportunity to boost the regional film market.

Caribefilm will also serve as a space for thought and socio-cultural debate for experts in Caribbean cinema and in other related areas of regional culture. The page includes the space, 'The Figured Image', which contains three sections - 'Essays and Thought', 'Dialogues and Interviews', and 'About Authors and their Work' - where investigation results of prestigious specialists from the region and of other parts of the world will converge, through their publishing in Spanish, English and French.

Likewise, through Caribefilm, users from around the world will be able to know and have access to the subtitling and consultancy services provided by the showcase.
