National footballer Ricardo Fuller has asked to be withdrawn from the list of players invited for upcoming friendly matches against Venezuela and El Salvador.

Fuller, who is on the books of English Premier League club Stoke City, cited personal domestic reasons for his request, according to a release from the Jamaica Football Federation.

The 31-year-old Fuller who scored for his club in a 4-0 rout of Newcastle in the English Premier League yesterday has been a regular member of the Jamaican team since 1999. He has scored six goals in 53 senior appearances.

Jamaica's reggae Boyz are scheduled to face Venezuela in Montego Bay next Friday before travelling to Central American country El Salvador to oppose the home team in San Salvador on March 27.

Several other overseas-based players, including United States-based Khari Stephenson and Omar Cummings, have been invited for the two games. The schedule of arrival of the overseas-based players beginning with arrivals into Montego Bay tomorrow will be released by the JFF today.
