CCC beat Guyana by eight runs
CAVE HILL, Barbados (CMC):
Another decisive spell from Carlos Brathwaite propelled Combined Campuses & Colleges (CCC) to an eight-run victory over Guyana in the West Indies Cricket Board Regional Four-day Tournament yesterday.
The tall, beefy fast bowler collected five wickets for 28 runs from 14 overs, as the Guyanese, chasing 200 for victory, were dismissed for 191 in their second innings, about seven minutes after tea on the final day of their sixth round match at the Three Ws Oval.
Brathwaite formalised the victory with successive lbw verdicts to dismiss tail-enders Brandon Bess and Ronsford Beaton in the first over after the break, as Guyana lost their last five wickets for 28 runs.
The result earned CCC 12 points and pushes them to 45 in the championship and Guyana gained no point and remained on 16.

Off-spinner Ryan Austin finished with three for 75 off 29 overs to take his tally of wickets to a season-leading 29.
