JAMAICA - Regional senior cops take part in course

Over 20 senior police officers from the region are now attending a two-week regional advanced anti-narcotics investigation training course in Jamaica.
The course which got under way on Monday, is organised by the Caribbean Regional Drug Law Enforcement Training Centre in collaboration with Caribbean Community grouping and the European Union.
It is aimed at improving and strengthening senior law enforcers' anti-narcotics capabilities.
The officers, from approximately 11 English-speaking Caribbean nations, will be trained in operational planning, financial investigating, management of case preparation, ethics and anti-corruption measures, as well as covert and undercover operations.
