ONLINE FEEDBACK
Below are excerpted comments by online readers in response to yesterday's Page 3 story, 'War of words'.
Stop the 'tracing', kd
Instead of asking questions, Mr Knight is 'tracing' the witness. Make better use of the camera, Mr Knight.

Political motives
K.D. Knight ran out of words, so he jumped for help from the churches, and then started to insult the prime minister of Jamaica, and the chairman of the commission.
Knight and Atkinson have been disrespectful from day one. They have come to these hearings with political motives.

Deal with the consequences
Golding cannot continue to lie in the face of the overwhelming evidence, then run behind his office and hide. Yes, respect his office, but when he behaves in an unstatesmanlike manner, he must deal with the consequences. When your most notable act as PM is trying to stop the accused leader of a dangerous gang and causing the deaths of 73 persons in your constituency, it is time you start looking in the mirror.

Simply out of line
I believe K.D. is disrespectful. For days the PM was trying to keep his cool, but K.D. kept pushing his nonsense. It doesn't matter how harsh lawyers should be when they are cross-examining, K.D. stepped out of line.
I believe K.D. lost it. He wasn't getting the response he needed from the PM, so he resorted to belittling the PM. The PNP should be ashamed.

Abusive, rude, crude
Mr Warmington and Mr Knight are two of a kind. They are abusive, rude and crude. Prime Minister Golding should never be intimidated, as Mr Knight has never learnt the finer points of being respectful.

What about your gov't?
Mr Golding testified at the Manatt enquiry: "I was prepared to put my political career on the line in defence of the Constitution of Jamaica and the rights that are guaranteed under that Constitution to every citizen of Jamaica."
What a pity he was not prepared to put his Government on the line in defence of the Constitution over the Warmington issue.
