Digicel rolled out the red carpet last Saturday night as it hosed the world premiere of the cricket documentary Fire in Babylon. It is a superbly produced work by the award-winning team of Charles Steele and John Battsek who, along with other members of the production team, were here courtesy of British Airways for the event.

So, it was no surprise that leading players of cricket's elite circles (including stars of the film), the business sector, government ministers and the local film industry were among the specially invited guests. So, after cocktails it was an eager audience that sat to view the much-anticipated film. But not before title sponsor Digicel unveiled its new commercial 'We all in' to the delight of everyone.

The consensus was ... Fire in Babylon exceeded the expectations of fans weary of a West Indies team that is now a pale shadow of its former self; it should be mandatory nightly bedtime viewing for the current crop of players.
