Andrew's Pen, Crooks Street headline quarter-finals

Andrew's Pen and Crooks Street will meet tomorrow for the third time this season, in an encounter that will highlight quarter-final action in the Claro/INSPORTS All-Island Community Football Championship.

The third encounter between the two teams will be the feature match of a double-header at the Constant Spring Stadium, starting 3 p.m.

Preceding the main event, Kingston's Romantic entertain last year's third-place finishers, Winchester of St Thomas.

Having drawn in the same group in the preliminary round, St Andrew champions, Andrew's Pen, hold a 2-0 lead in their face-offs this season over their nearest rivals, whom they also defeated in the April 10 final.

However, Crooks Street, the 16th qualifier in the KO round, are eyeing a huge upset that will increase their chances of reaching the May 28 final at the National Stadium.

Meanwhile, two games at STETHS, St Elizabeth, will determine the semi-final pairing in Pool One, with Clarendon's Race Track facing Tennament Youth of St James in the early kick-off.

Tennament Youth lost their round of 16 games in Hanover against Kingsvale but advanced to the final eight after investigations found the latter had used an unregistered player last week.

In the feature, St Elizabeth's kings, Warminster, take on Ocho Rios Sports Club of St Ann with the winners making the semi-finals for the first time.
