Red Stripe hosted the Master Brewers Association of the Americas (MBAA) Caribbean's District Golden Jubilee Convention in Montego Bay from May 4 to 6.

The celebration to mark the association's 50th anniversary culminated with a gala dinner and awards ceremony. About 180 senior brewers, brewery executives and equipment suppliers from the Caribbean, Mexico, Italy, Germany, Canada, USA, Denmark, Argentina, Guatemala, Venezuela, Belgium, Peru, Netherlands, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Brazil, England, Haiti, France and Belgium converged at The Ritz-Carlton Resort and Spa in Montego Bay to participate in this prestigious event.

MBAA conventions take the format of daily technical sessions which serve to strengthen the delegates' knowledge base and provide a robust platform for the sharing of best practices. These are followed by a myriad of entertainment activities that showcase the natural splendour of the host nations.
