Thursday talk

Missing from the event

1 The wife was missing from the big event last week, but many of those who were in attendance took pains to avoid a certain meal, and were only happy to say so!

Ready for leadership?

2 Some elders and supporters are calling for heads to roll after the out-of-town incident the other day! And they say the main suspect behind the incident has a history of rudeness and abrasiveness that says he is not ready for leadership!

Where's the cash?

3 Some would still like to know what happened to the cash that was supposedly found secreted in overseas bank accounts that was promised to be made available to those out of pocket two Christmases ago. They say an update from the trustee is way past due!

Don't sell!

4 Word is that the historic Devon House is now up for sale or lease. This is not going down well at all in heritage circles, as those concerned say those entrusted to be guardians of the public property and heritage must stop selling off national assets in order to balance the Budget!

They don't get it!

5 Quote of the Week: "Minister Mike Henry and Minister Audley Shaw just do not get it! The people have already passed judgement on the PNP administration of the last 18 years. What people need now is leadership from the current administration and a plan for the way forward, not a reminder of the shortcomings of the PNP when they formed the Government. Both ministers would do well to account for their current stewardship, rather than rehashing the ills of the PNP, to seemingly justify the shortcomings of the current administration!"

In trouble!

6.It is now called doing a Schwarzenegger! And friends are saying the marriage is in trouble because the businessman keeps doing a Schwarzenegger!!
