Motocross madness
Excitement soared as high-flying dirt bikes tackled jumps over 70 feet to seal the winning spots at the Irie Racing Motocross, in St Catherine recently.
The Sunday, May 15 event, attracted off-road drivers, dirt bike riders and ATV (quad) riders competitors to track located off the Mandela Highway (Caymanas), racing on a closed circuit filled with jumps and different obstacles.
The day's activity began with the B class moto 1. Aaron March took the chequered flag over Jaden Wright and Orlando Wynter. However, in the second moto for that class, Wright finished ahead of March.
Among the day's stars, Fraser McConnell showed spectators he is not only skilful at go-kart racing. He was unstoppable and took first place in both motos in the Mini class.
Kyle Reynolds dominated the track in both moto 1 and moto 2 in the A class.
The next meet is scheduled for July 17.
