Tourism's fashionable women lit up the Ritz-Carlton on Saturday night.

The fall of a star

1. Yet another case of a rising star being cut down by an overambitious wife. It seems the wife wanted so much to laud it over her peers that she pushed the husband's buttons much too hard. The head honcho got tired of the drama and sent him packing. People say it was like a thousand bolts of lightning for no one was prepared, or even expected, to be shoved so sharply. Talk about making adjustments.

Bedroom OK, business bad

2. The juiciest parts are yet to be told. Seems there was not much love lost between the foreigner and the locals. Mind you, when it came to the bedroom, he was OK with the locals, but when it was about business he had some harsh things to say about some otherwise well-respected business moguls.

Big bang coming!

3. Ah, the chickens have come home to roost. The lady simply wanted to prove her worth in defiance of the negatives coming her way. Having turned her back on things familiar, she went head-long into the assignment. Now there is grief within and without. Listen out for the big bang anytime soon.

Resignation list

4. It doesn't matter that the young 'un is pretty wet behind the ears, as heir apparent, she is the one who will take over the reins, and those who are disgruntled have been told what their options are. So far, there have been four resignations and others are expected to follow.
