Socialite Jojo Paige was laughing it up on Tuesday as she celebrated a landmark, plus other social happenings.

Thursdaytalk

Not this time

1 Most observers are not at all surprised that the expected photo-op with the key one was denied.

Cyber terrorism rampant

2 It's being called cyber terrorism and this is how it works: A rival posts allegations of infidelity, or other allegations of sexual misconduct, on the social networks and makes sure it's circulated to the friends and associates of the targeted person. The alleged offender, rather than face up to the bullies, packs it in and migrates! This accounts for a number of high-profile resignations and emigration in recent times, and the culprits are targeting others!

Where's the cash?

3 The question for many is, with all that talk all over about JDIP and billions being spent on roads, but for many communities, there's no visible change on the ground, with some roadways getting worse with each passing day, where is the money going?

Erratic behaviour

4 It's not official but, officially, they no longer make joint public appearances! Story is her erratic behaviour makes her too unpredictable.

Bloody days coming!

5 With one out of the way, the jockeying is now on in full within the ranks of the second tier as the ambitious seek to position themselves for succession. Insiders are predicting bloody days ahead as the battle takes form!

Wounded pride

6 The princess came and went, leaving talk of a case of wounded pride in the wake of her departure!

Wiki story on diplomacy

7 As Jamaicans continue to learn about international diplomacy from WikiLeaks, officials here continue to share their insight into the actions of some of those who have served, and the story now doing the rounds caused as much outrage when it first happened as it is now when it is being retold. The story is of the ambassador who pays an official visit to the offices of a minister of Government and observes a picture of a 'regional' head of state on the minister's credenza, and asked him to turn the picture around to avoid having to see it! After the story made the rounds, all agreed diplomacy was not this ambassador's strong point, earning the diplomat the nickname 'Ambassador Pushy'!
