Reggae Sumfest honours Beres ... The King of Lover's Rock
Internationally acclaimed singer Beres Hammond returns to the Reggae Sumfest stage with much fanfare after a three-year hiatus.
Always a crowd favourite, Beres Hammond will wow the audience with timeless hits like No Disrespect, Can't Stop A Man From Trying, Standing In My Way and She Loves Me Now, to name a few.
Summerfest Productions will confer a special award on the indomitable reggae star, who has gracefully carried the reggae banner to the four corners of the world during his career. Johnny Gourzong, executive director of Summerfest Productions, is elated to have the Moment in Time singer on the line-up once again.

Beres Hammond has made it clear that Sumfest is one of his favourite shows to perform at and, according to manager Mervis Walsh, the smooth crooner is eager to deliver out west.
"Beres loves to perform at Sumfest because of the exceptional reception he gets. It's been a while since he has graced the stage at Catherine Hall and he has made it clear that he will be delivering one of the best sets locally come July."
The man, who many know for his soulful voice and eclectic lovers' rock ballads, will also be honoured at the festival for his outstanding contribution to the Jamaican music industry.
Reggae Sumfest takes place July 17-23 in Montego Bay and is sponsored by Red Stripe Bold, Jamaica Tourist Board, Digicel, Iberostar and newcomers Pepsi. Tickets are available online June 30 and in outlets July 1.
