Twenty-one consumers of Red Stripe Bold and a friend each will stand out from all others at Reggae Sumfest this year. For each night of the reggae festival, seven Facebook fans of Red Stripe Bold will be rewarded with the very best seats in the house.

Reggae Sumfest, which will run from July 17-24, will feature a host of high-quality acts, including R Kelly, Nicki Minaj, Beres Hammond, Beenie Man, Mavado, Konshens, Ce'Cile, Chris Martin and Richie Loop, and patrons attending will crave the best-possible vantage points from which to see their favourite performers.

Safia Cooper, brand manager of Red Stripe Bold, will be counting on this desire to make several patrons extra satisfied that they bought tickets to the event.

"Twenty-one Red Stripe Bold consumers and a friend will be 'Standing Out' at Reggae Sumfest this year. Red Stripe Bold will be rewarding seven Facebook fans each night with an amazing experience with what will be the best seats in the house. Elevated 17 feet in the air, our Red Stripe Bold Stand Out seats are perfectly positioned at the centre of the venue, the winners will have personalised bar service and get to enjoy the show in their own VIP box."

Winners will be selected via the Stand Out Competition which opened yesterday at 11:59 p.m.

"All persons have to do is visit our Facebook page (Facebook.com/redstripebold) and show us just how Bold and Stand Out they can be.

"For each night of the festival, we want the Red Stripe Bold community to impersonate select artistes performing on that night. So, for the first night, dancehall night, we want persons showing us their bold moment impersonation of Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Spice, Mavado and Vybz Kartel, with video and pictures. The top-seven pictures that are liked the most, will win. In week two, we will have impersonations of R Kelly, and in week three, Nicki Minaj.

According to Cooper, in what is an unprecedented venture, each night, the seven will be located 17 feet above ground, nestled into the second level of what is technically known as the 'front of house' at concerts like Sumfest.

The fortunate patrons will be lifted to their seats by a Red Stripe Bold hydraulic lift. Once they are lifted to their special seats, they will be relaxing in plush couches from where they will enjoy the best view and best sound.

Cooper said that if the high-quality seats do not blow the guests away, the service most certainly will. These special seven each night will get to experience white-glove service wherein they will be served a meal by servers wearing white gloves. Of course, they will be fêted with Red Stripe Bold right throughout the night.

"It's about providing the best-possible Reggae Sumfest expe-rience for our Red Stripe Bold consumers," Cooper said.
