Osmosis provides good food, good music, good 'wine'

The all stars who partied last Saturday night away under the stars at Osmosis-All Stars, held at Fort Charles in Port Royal, left satisfied.
Though the venue was fairly empty at midnight, Buju Banton's Champion, Lauryn Hill's Killing Me Softly and Notorious B.I.G.'s One More Chance thumped from the speakers, providing much energy.
From the early hours, patrons decided to flock the many bars to get their beverage of choice. The food court was also in full swing.
Through good musical juggling in the early stages, songs such as Ride With Me, Ms Jackson and Badmind Is Active turned up the energy at the event, and patrons began to rock along to the beat.
A noted change took place as Wayne Wonder said Anything Goes and QB's Finest had patrons singing Oochie Wally. Aaliyah told the audience to Try Again and Beyoncé and Sean Paul sang Baby Boy as patrons followed suit on the dancefloor.
And while they danced, the sweet smell of food stained the air. Among the broad, extensive choices available to patrons were TGIF's BBQ chicken wings and chicken fingers, The Cove's jerk chicken and jerk pork, Monster's Grill curry goat and white rice, KFC's original recipe, spicy and corn, Zander's ribs and beef, Pizza Hut's BBQ chicken, pepperoni and cheese pizza and wings, Cuddy'z jerk chicken pasta and jerk shrimp pasta, So So Seafood's garlic shrimp, curry shrimp, stir fry shrimp and grilled shrimp, Elite Kreations' spicy shrimp pasta, pecan crusted fish and crispy pork, Grace's cock soup, and Reggae Jammin's assortments.
There was also Salada's coffee station and the sweet-tooth satisfier, Say It With Cakes, that had red velvet cakes, chocolate cupcakes and Baileys cheesecakes.
"Mek we party nuh!" shouted the disc jockey in an attempt to get patrons more involved. Where The Party At, followed by N.O.R.E.'s Nothing and Summertime, served the DJ's purpose as patrons went wild.
The disc jock became more daring, telling the women that the 'stush' wine would not work. It Good gave the crowd a chance to show him they could do better. They did, as Beyoncé Wine, Ukku Bit, Work It Like A Factory and Twice A Day blared from the speakers.
