Digicel kicked off its summer promotion on Tuesday, plus the hot events just keep coming!

Staff seething

1. Some say it was pure drama in the big yard the other day, as staffers at one official residence are up in arms, with some screaming for justice after the wife went into the kitchen last week and "drape up and box down" one of the cooks! Story is, the husband called a meeting of staffers and begged them all to keep it quiet, but some are so outraged, they are champing at the bit!

Final touches

2. Interpol, MI5, and some say even Homeland Security personnel were on the island last week, putting the finishing touches to their case involving international money laundering; bribery and the corrupting of public officials.

No better barrel

3. The phrase being bandied about is "finger-fearing", as some say it's a case of no better herring, no better barrel, as the replacement has been found to have his own issues. So now the hunt is on to find a replacement for the replacement!

One plot deserves another

4. The plot thickens as, fearing their worst fears of theirs being a one-term effort, some are determined to take steps to prevent that. So there's talk of challenge for the stronghold to leave the leader without a base. Observers say, however, the leader is wise to the machinations of those around him and so he elevated one; got rid of another, as he put in play his own counterplot!

Like a deer in the headlights

5. Some are convinced that the latest leaked story is a case of cock mouth killing cock, and the rooster is caught like a deer in the oncoming headlights!
