Following the successful return of the Jamaica Military Band to Hope Gardens in May, another free 'Concert in the Garden' is being planned for tomorrow at the same venue.

The conductor will be Warrant Officer Class 1 Albert Shaun Hird, bandmaster of Jamaica Military Band.

The event, scheduled for a 4 p.m. start, will take place at the Shell Bandstand, opposite the Hope Zoo.

This will be the second in a series of free concerts that have been held so far this year. It is being organised to be a regular event by Nature Preservation Foundation, operators of Hope Gardens and Hope Zoo, which is now engaged in a public education campaign to 'Bring Back the Hope' to Hope Gardens.

"The concert in May attracted an impressively large crowd of patrons across the age groups, including teenagers, who stayed to the end of the two-hour presentation by the Jamaica Military Band. We hope they will continue to attend and discover the great ambience that Hope Gardens offers for all Jamaicans," said Robert Lalor, CEO of the Nature Preservation Foundation.

No seats will be available, so patrons are being encouraged to take their own chairs and/or blankets.
