Portmore, Barbican in mid-season clash

Portmore Strikers and Barbican will clash in today's mid-season final of the Jamaica Football Federation/Sherwin Williams women's competition at the Baldwin Crescent field in Duhaney Park, starting at 3:30 p.m.
In the curtain-raiser, the national Under-17 women's team will battle a Sherwin Williams All-Star team, starting at 1:30 p.m.
Barbican booked their spot in the final after finishing atop the league ahead of Portmore Strikers, who ended the round in second place. The final is expected to be an exciting affair as both teams are evenly matched in all departments.
The Charles Edwards-coached Barbican will rest their hopes on leading players Jodi-Ann McGregor, Alicia James, Philisha Lewis, Nadola Chase and Trudian Mills. Portmore Strikers will look to playmaker Kellian Fearon.
