Ryan Jon-Paul Noel Earl Hamilton and Kelli-Dawn Smith exchanged vows on June 11.
They started out as school friends, and it blossomed into the sounds of wedding bells seven years later.
The beautiful ceremony took place along Airy Castle Drive, Stony Hill, St Andrew and it was an occasion with a royal feel befitting the substance of the "I dos".
" I remember him from I was head girl at Ardenne, where he did sixth form. We developed true friendship at the University of the West Indies (Mona), he was doing marketing and I international relations," Kelli-Dawn told Outlook.
With both sharing similar views, the relationship grew to permanent status.
"It is a very good feeling to see an honourable thing like a marriage, it shows that everybody is growing up," the father of the groom, Earl Hamilton, said. The cake was done by Annmarie Toomer-Gayle and decor was by mother of the groom, Marcia Hamilton of Transformations.
Pantry Caterers provided the wedding feats and photography by Hasini Bryan, Bryan's Studios.
It turned out to be an evening well spent, with fine food, laughter and tears of joy.
The newly-weds were whisked away to Couples Swept Away in Negril, Westmoreland, for their honeymoon.
