Smirnoff offers 'Xclusive' fun... rounding off the Dream weekend of parties
Krista Henry, Staff Reporter
Smirnoff Xclusive didn't disappoint on Monday, as one of the closing parties for the Dream weekend.
Held at Margaritaville in Negril, persons got more than a little wild, as they enjoyed the last day of the long party weekend. When The Gleaner reached the venue, persons were getting warmed up, some looked worse for wear from the weekend, while others obviously wanted to have a good time. A shower of rain put a damper on the vibes of some patrons, as they sought shelter and listened to the techno vibe provided by 3rd Dimension.
The music soon moved from techno to hip hop and dancehall, with music from Sean Paul and Busy Signal. Some patrons stuck to the red and white theme, looking fit for a fashion show.
The Dream girls took the stage after 4 p.m., to build a vibe as they danced to current dancehall hits. As the night wore on, the vibes got wilder as the promoters for the weekend hit the stage, dancing up a storm. The VIP area soon got packed and deejay Bounty Killer gave a brief but entertaining performance.
When The Gleaner left the venue after 7 p.m., the party was still going strong.
