Renaissance moves anniversary event

As one of the events that Kingston and St Andrew anticipate, the Renaissance Anniversary Party receives over 3,000 patrons annually, and this year, the Renaissance Disco team has decided to make a slight change and move its venue to Coal Wharf, Port Royal.

For more than six years, the Palisadoes Go-Kart Track had been grounds for the yearly party staple. While the team has also staged its event at other conventional venues such as Temple Hall Estate, it has decided that it's time to take a few steps forward to add to the celebration.

"The venue change may come as a surprise to many of our patrons, but Renaissance Disco believes that Coal Wharf has an appropriate ambience for our theme this year," said Renaissance Disco CEO, Delano Thomas.

The theme is futuristic, and the venue provides the opportunity of transformation in keeping with the out-of-this world playground for music lovers and partygoers alike.

"We promise that patrons won't be disappointed when they enter the venue. With the assistance from our dedicated sponsorship team at Red Stripe, our communications sponsor, LIME, who understands the concept of change, and other radical sponsors such as Cari-Med Limited (Old Spice), persons can expect proper execution of the theme," added Thomas.
