Eve launched its Eve-Vasion campaign at this year's Denbigh Industrial and Agricultural Show in Clarendon. Below are some recipes from some of the dishes that were sampled by visitors to their booth.

EVE Sardine Pastrami

Ingredients

1 pack 400g Eve macaroni elbows

3 tins Eve sardines, drained & flaked

1tsp grated onion

1/4 cup Goya olive oil

1tsp salt

1/2 cup Eve whole kernel corn

1/4 cup Eve mixed vegetables

1tsp Scotch bonnet pepper minced

Parsley, cilantro, basil (optional)

Method

Boil macaroni as directed on package. Drain and rinse in cold water. Combine all ingredients and toss.

Serves 4-6.

EVE Corned Beef Supa-Club Sandwich

Ingredients

12 slices wholewheat bread toasted

1 tin 340g Eve corned beef

1 small onion, minced

A pinch of Eve black pepper

8 slices tomato

8 lettuce leaves (chopped)

8 strips Oscar Mayer turkey bacon

1/2 cup Kraft sandwich spread

Sweet relish (optional)

1/2lb Oscar Mayer ham

1/2lb Oscar Mayer turkey breast

8 slices Kraft Singles cheddar cheese

1/2 cup Kraft mayonnaise

Method

1. Spread 1 teaspoon Kraft sandwich spread on one side of each slice of toast.

2. Combine in bowl: Eve corned beef, onion, Scotch bonnet pepper, a sprinkle of Eve black pepper and 1tbs Kraft mayonnaise.

3. To assemble each sandwich, layer 1 slice of toast - mayonnaise-side up, 1 lettuce leaf, corned beef mixture, 1 slice cheese, 2oz ham, 2 slices tomato, 1 slice toast - mayonnaise-side down.

4. Spread 1 tsp mayonnaise on toast. Continue assembling each sandwich with 1 slice cheese, 2 oz turkey, 2 slices bacon, 1 lettuce leaf, corned beef mixture and 1 slice toast - mayonnaise-side down. Cut into triangles and secure with toothpicks.

Serves 6-8.

EVE 'Hold-dem-Jo' Sausage and Butter Beans

Ingredients

1 tsp Lider vegetable oil

2 tins Eve vienna sausages cut in bite-size pieces

1 tin Eve butter beans

1 small onion

1/2 cup sweet pepper (red, green, yellow) sliced

1 small tomato chopped

1/2 tsp Scotch bonnet pepper

Method

Sauté vegetables in saucepan, add Eve butter beans and vienna sausages and allow to simmer for 3 minutes.

Serves 4-6.
