Aba Sykes is Miss Jamaica Caribbean Talented Teen
Aba Sykes, Miss Angela's, is the new Miss Jamaica Caribbean Talented Teen.
Second place in the pageant went to Candise Bulli, Miss Wholesale Photo, while Chirs-Ann Thomas, Miss UTech, was third.
Fourth place went to Olivia Lawrence, Miss Clean and Clear, and Shania Palmer, Miss Emperor Wholesale, was fifth.
Sykes will go on to represent Jamaica in the Haynes Smith Miss Caribbean Talented Teen 2011 Pageant which will be held this December.
Confident
Pageant director Roneisha James stated that she is confident Sykes would return with the crown and represent Jamaica well.
Syke's prizes included a one-year scholarship to pursue a bachelor's degree at the University of Technology, a trip to St Kitts, a laptop from Royale Computers, a trophy and $25,000 from Chillin Flavoured Water, chest of drawers from Austin's Furnishings, trophy from the Kingston and St Andrew Corporation, a gift voucher to Kool Runnings Water Park and gift baskets from Clean & Clear and SoftSheen-Carson.
Other sponsors included the Jamaica Cultural Development Commission, CVM TV, MDTV and Suncity Radio 104.9.
