Comedy Fest to last three days
- Promoters promise impressive shows for Heroes' weekend
The promoters of the much-anticipated Heroes' Weekend Comedy Fest and pre-party, Digital One Productions, have promised the public a funfilled experience once the three-day event gets started on October 14 at Limelight Nightclub, in Half-Way Tree.
The weekend, which will be a combination of both music and comedy, is expected to start off with a bang when veteran sound system operators Fire Links, Sky Juice, and Ras and Biggy takes centre stage at the increasingly popular Limelight venue. Entry fee is only $1,500.
The action will then shift to Montego Bay where the first of two comedy shows, featuring several international comedians namely Isiah, Johnny, Gerald Kelly, Stanley Dubois, Michael Colyar, Donnell Rawlings and DJ Denvo, are expected to give patrons a bellyful of laughter.
The final and most-anticipated stop takes place at The Jamaica Pegasus hotel, and this, according to Richard Roache, is where all the fun and frolic from the previous two days will climax into one spectacle.
"See, for the first two shows, we are expecting great things. But, when it all climaxes at Pegasus, patrons will not want to leave the venue," he said, while noting that patrons get a major bargain with ticket prices at $2,500 presold and $3,000 at the gate.
