Annotto Bay Hospital needs ambulance, better access routes
Some weeks ago, there was the report and pictures of the deteriorating situation at the Annotto Bay All-Age School, which has got prompt attention. On Saturday, September 10, page A5 again addressed water woes in Annotto Bay, which also got prompt attention.
May I bring People's Report's attention to the deplorable conditions at the Annotto Bay Hospital. As I write, there has been no ambulance for the last two weeks. Persons seeking treatment at the outpatient department have to sit in the burning sun or in the falling rain under a tent.
It may surprise you to learn that a patient, after being treated at the hospital's outpatient department and returning home, fell and broke his finger in a pothole on the road leading to and from the hospital.
There is so much more People's Report can see there. I do hope you can bring this to the public's attention.
