Last Thursday evening, the rooftop of The Gleaner's North Street headquarters was transformed into a glitzy view of the city as sponsors and organisers of the annual Restaurant Week gathered to launch the highly anticipated event.

Among the special guests in attendance was New York restaurateur Paul Salmon of Miss Lily's. The popular New York eatery is participating in this year's Restaurant Week which runs from November 11-19 this year.

Sponsors are Stewarts Automotive Group, Appelton Estate, CB Chicken, Ocean Spray, Hi-Lo Food Stores, Hardy's, RBC Royal Bank, Café Blue. Restaurant Week is endorsed by the Jamaica Tourist Board.Here are some highlights of the launch.
